Wylie is obsessed with poop. It's something else.
Today, he was climbing up the stairs with the "clink-clink-clink" of a ceramic Santa that he loves, when we heard another CLINK on the toilet. Adam ran up the stairs to see Wylie helping his broken ceramic Santa "to poop". He loves to tell us that "santa pooped" and now that Grendel is suffering from kidney stones (an entirely different story), Wylie says, "Grendel, no poop, no pee, no potty, DOCTOR!".
So, when I gave him rice and beans for dinner tonight, I shouldn't have been surprised at his response. He took one look at the bowl, and said:
" OH GOD!!!!!!!!! POOP!!! AND TURDS IN HERE!!!!!!!!!". WIth the most disgusted face possible, he looked at us in shock, and then promptly shoved his bowl away.
Welcome to our adoption adventure! Our son, Wylie Garrett was born on April 19th, 2009 and adopted on April 22nd. Both of these days are some of the biggest our little life will know. Update! Our daughter, Alida James, was born February 7th, 2012. We'll keep you posted on her as well:)
