We cannot believe this little baby is so close to one! How nine months have flown by! His personality cracks us up, and he is equal part entertainer and drama king (I think he gets that from Adam!).
Some of the things we love most about our nine-month-old man:
- He's still bonkers for Walter. Seeing Walter in the morning is like Wylie's cup of coffee. As soon as he sees Walter, all is right with the world, and he's ready to start his day. It certainly helps that Walter is accommodating to Wylie's desires for fistfuls of his hair, and unpredictable pokes to his eyes.
- He is NOT a crawler- he is pretty much the anti-crawler. He LOVES cruising around holding on to our fingers, or holding himself up on the coffee table, his toys, or Walter. If all else fails- let this baby walk- and he's a happy clam. Adam's prediction is that when I post his ten month picture, I'll be able to say that he's walking on his own- we'll see!!
- He is an eating machine! With his six shiny teeth, he tackles whatever we make him- we grind him up some pretty wild fruit and veggie mixtures, and he's all for it, sans peas. He's also a giant fan of grapefruit and avocado. Like mother, like son:)
- He's a dancing fool... we think his love of music comes from Becca. Hopefully he'll get Adam's rhythm rather than mine!
- He's jabbering non-stop, lots of mamamamamama's and dadadadada's... but to be honest, we're pretty sure his first words might be "no barking, Grendel!"
- His hair is literally a crowd-pleaser. Naturally inclined to defy gravity- his hair is CRAZY. We absolutely love it, and so does the check-out clerk, the post office man, and random target shoppers. He may not always love this 'do, but for now, it's his trademark!
Have I mentioned we go to sleep at night counting our lucky stars? Who wouldn't be wild about this guy?!
