Welcome to our adoption adventure! Our son, Wylie Garrett was born on April 19th, 2009 and adopted on April 22nd. Both of these days are some of the biggest our little life will know. Update! Our daughter, Alida James, was born February 7th, 2012. We'll keep you posted on her as well:)

Is today the day?
We received a call from St. Elizabeth's last night at 5pm, stating that a birth mother had chosen us to parent her newborn son, born on September 13th, 2008. Right now, we're waiting for the birthmother to bring her son to St. Elizabeth's to meet us. Is today the day we become parents? Pray for Adam and I, and especially pray for the birth mother, that she makes the best decision for her and her child, no matter what her decision is. We continue to be awestruck by the strength of the birth mothers St. Elizabeth's works with.
